Recall Course

The MOST important skill, teaching your dog to come back to you no matter what the distraction is. The course is suitable for most dogs.

At Puppy School you will have already begun to teach your puppy to come to you when you call, but this is within a hall environment where there are limited distractions.

When young dogs reach adolescence they become much more confident and begin to take a greater interest in the many distractions you can encounter on a walk. It is also the age when the hormones and rebellion can kick in so it is vital that you have control of your dog when it is off the lead.

This course is also designed for adult rescue dogs which have just joined their new families or owners of adult dogs who would like to perfect their recall.

The 4 week course allows you to develop your recall skills further as it is carried out at an outdoor training field which is much more realistic than an indoor hall. As the training field is completely secure you will have the confidence to begin to let your dog off the lead in a real life environment and call them away from the many distractions that are introduced.

This course will prepare you for those real life distractions such as joggers, cyclists and other dogs and you puppy will quickly learn to return to you no matter what is going on around them.
