Welcome to K9 Paws Dog Training

K9 Paws

K9 Paws incorporates ‘Puppy School’ and is the only puppy training specialist in the Brighouse area.

Puppy School

At K9 Paws we only use reward based training methods and ensure that all techniques are kind, fair and effective, resulting in happy well balanced dogs.

We also make sure classes are stress free and enjoyable for both you and your dog – after all training should be about having fun !

We specialise in puppy training and socialisation and our courses will ensure you give your puppy the best possible start in life. As puppies are constantly growing and developing, training and socialisation must be continued throughout the first year of your puppy’s life.

We offer a series of courses for your puppy, specifically designed to be linked together so that your puppy gets all the real life skills it needs to grow up into a happy, well mannered, correctly socialised adult dog.

Training is also available for young adolescent dogs, adult dogs and rescue dogs.

Courses are available under The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme at Bronze, Silver and Gold standard and we also run Clicker Fun and Obedience courses.

1-2-1 training sessions are available where we can cover anything from loose lead walking to coming back when called.

Beagle WelfareBehaviour consultations are available for issues such as separation anxiety, resource guarding, phobias, inappropriate barking, over excitement, chasing and some cases of aggression.

We are committed to helping owners who have taken on a rescue dog as these dogs may need special help to settle into their new home.

If you have a specific interest in Beagles and would like to re-home or adopt a beagle please click on the Beagle Welfare link for more information.
